YouTrack Links for Google Docs Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes how the YouTrack Links add-on for Google Docs ("YouTrack Links" or "the add-on") collects and uses your information.

What We Collect

YouTrack Links does not collect or store any information about the content of your Google Docs documents. The add-on scans your documents for text that resembles YouTrack issue URLs and highlights them for your convenience.

Use of Google Properties Service

YouTrack Links stores user settings state, using Google Properties Service. This service is specific to your Google account and does not contain any content from your documents.

Requested Scope

• See, edit, create, and delete all your Google Docs documents.

  • The add-on turns the issues IDs into clickable links, so the edit scope is an essential requirement.

  • The add-on does NOT create or delete documents.  

• Allow calls to external services

  • This scope is used for accessing the user-defined YouTrack server when checking for the connectivity and issues statuses.

• Display and run third-party web content in prompts and sidebars inside Google applications 

  • The scope is needed for showing add-on settings.

(App’s) use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.” 

No Logging or Sharing

YouTrack Links does not log or share any information about your documents or your use of the add-on with third parties.
